Sea Taxis, Spetses Express & Boat Cruises – Travel by Water
Sea Taxis
Sea Taxis station is located at the main port of Spetses.
Sea Taxis are mostly used, but not limited, to connect Spetses Port with the mainland, more specificaly with Kosta Port. Sea Taxi fare from or to Kosta Port is 30 Euros (subject to change), it maybe be more if you are carrying a lot of luggage.
If you are traveling to Spetses by car, Kosta Port parking lot is the location you are gonna leave your car.
You can also use the Sea Taxi to access the majority of the islands beaches, hotel piers, or the old harbour.
Maximum capacity is eight (8) persons, and you should always ask for the price beforehand, because the fare changes drastically, when the distance is greater.

Ferry Boat
The ferry connects Spetses Island with the mainland, specifically Kosta Port. Its schedule is usually fixed, with additional itineraries during the summer season.
The ferry can transport cars to the island, but entry is restricted to suppliers. Private cars are allowed only with a special permit, issued exclusively to local residents. Even with a permit, these cars cannot be driven around the island; the permit is solely for parking in the resident’s designated space.

Spetses Express
The Spetses Express Boat runs between Spetses Port and Kosta Port. Its schedule typically starts just before Greek Easter and operates until the end of October. The Spetses Express supplements the ferry service with additional routes, though its schedule varies between Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday.

Boat Cruises
Boats depart from the main port of Spetses, offering a scenic journey to the beaches on the island’s far side. They depart usualy at midday, and they operate from mid June to mid September. Private Boat Cruises
You have the option to get in touch with the captains of several private owned boats (called “Kaiki” most commonly in Greek) and organise your own private excursion around the island or the closest parts of the mainland.
This way you have the opportunity to visit the majority of the islands beaches, and do everything at your convenience.
Daily cruises usually last 4-6 hours, but you can always arrange something that suits better your needs. The fare for these cruises typically varies based on the duration of the journey.
